These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of RV Journey Genie (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
The Service
RV Journey Genie provides AI-assisted RV repair information and DIY troubleshooting guidance, reviewed in part by a certified RV technician. Guidance may be delivered through the app, by voice transcription, by photo analysis, and by SMS text message.
⚠️ Safety & “Not Professional Advice” Disclaimer
The Service provides general informational guidance only and is not a substitute for a licensed, certified, or professional RV technician, electrician, or gas fitter. RV repair can involve serious hazards, including propane/LP gas, high-voltage electrical systems, brakes, and structural components.
You use any guidance at your own risk.For anything involving propane/gas, 120V/240V AC wiring, lithium battery internals, brakes, steering, suspension, or generators beyond basic maintenance, you must consult a qualified professional. Always follow your RV and component manufacturers’ manuals and safety warnings. If you are unsure, stop and contact a professional.
Subscriptions & Billing
- Paid plans (monthly, annual) renew automatically until cancelled.
- One-time purchases (such as a live tech consult) are charged once.
- Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
- You may cancel anytime; access continues through the end of your paid period.
Acceptable Use
- Use the Service only for lawful, RV-related purposes.
- Do not abuse, reverse-engineer, or attempt to disrupt the Service.
- Do not submit unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.
- Usage may be subject to fair-use limits (e.g., daily message caps).
SMS Messaging Terms
If you opt in to SMS, you agree to receive customer-support texts. Message frequency varies. Message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle mobile data.
User Content
You retain ownership of photos and content you submit. You grant us a limited license to process and store it to provide and improve the Service (including technician review).
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that guidance will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific RV or situation.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RV Journey Genie LLC and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any property damage, injury, or loss arising from your use of or reliance on the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RV Journey Genie from claims arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Changes
We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
